3. Data Collection
3.1. Happy Days Travel collects personal data from its clients who are natural persons. As a rule, this includes data necessary for the provision of the travel and tourism services selected by the client. These details may be further specified within the framework of a specific travel service and vary depending on the means of transport (bus/car) as well as the domestic travel destination. We use your personal data to perform the contract concluded between us and to provide you with travel and tourism services. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, except for those with whom it must be shared pursuant to the law or for the performance of the contract concluded between us.
3.2. Processing of Personal Data in the Course of Providing and Intermediating Tour Guide, Guide-Interpreter, and Tour Escort Services
To provide tour guide, guide-interpreter, and tour escort services, we require personal data from you such as your name, personal identification code, the date and time of the service provision, the languages between which translation is required, and the destinations being visited. In the course of providing tour escort services, special categories of personal data may also become known (e.g., the need for a wheelchair in the case of a mobility disability, or information regarding accompanying persons traveling with children). Depending on the destination and the destination country, it may also be necessary to transmit your personal data in advance to the destination or to the relevant authority of the destination country, if required.
If you have purchased the intermediation of tour guide, guide-interpreter, and tour escort services from us, we generally transfer the data to the wholesaler of these services, who in turn subsequently transfers the data to the specific service provider.
3.3. Provision and Intermediation of Passenger Transport Services
To provide passenger transport services, we require personal data from you such as your name, personal identification code, travel document details, contact information, and service-related data. In the course of providing passenger transport services, special categories of personal data may also become known (e.g., the need for a wheelchair in the case of a mobility disability, or information regarding children and accompanying persons traveling with them).
In the case of providing and intermediating vehicle rental services, we transfer the submitted personal data to the specific vehicle rental service provider, from whom we require personal data processing in compliance with the GDPR. In the case of vehicle rental services, Happy Days Travel is not liable for the processing of data that you provide directly to the vehicle rental company on-site.
3.4. Our Online Environment
The happydaystravel.ee website and various social media channels (Facebook, Instagram), like many other similar platforms, collect certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include your IP address, region, or general location where your computer or device is connected to the internet, browser type, operating system, and other usage-related information, including page visit history. Happy Days Travel uses this information to make its online environments better, simpler, and more user-friendly.
